Ebsco problems from home and Vista Windows

Problem:
Student is able to log into EBSCO, but when she enters a search query, she does not receive any results. The search interface screen reappears withoutany search terms entered and no results listed. She does not receive the message - 0 results. It is like the database is not "receiving" the search query. She is able to search Proquest and JSTOR - so this is specifically related to the EBSCO databases.
Solution:
Use Firefox as a browser, not Internet Explorer. The bottom line is that it is a problem with IE and the Vista operating system on Ebsco. Not everyone with Vista will experience this problem.
