Word 2007 Double spacing problem

Mmodify the NORMAL style that Word 2007 uses by default when it starts up.
Under the "Home" tab, close to the right side is the Styles section. If you click on the little icon at the lower right of the styles area you'll get a list of styles showing up on the right hand side. Run your cursor over Normal, click the right mouse button, select Modify from the popup menu, and select the line spacing you want for the Normal format (by default its 1.15 with 10pt space after) using the Format button at the bottom of the dialog window. The trick to making the change to Normal style work for all subsequent documents is to make sure the option "New documents based on this template" (just above the format button) is selected before you exit the dialog window - otherwise the option "Only in this document" is selected by default.
