Equipment training for students and faculty

The library will no longer require training from students when they borrow camcorders. But getting training from CLS or from the Library is highly encouraged. If you offer camcorder training to a patron, please put a note in the patron record so we'll have the information for future reference.
Patrons may request one-on-one or small group training from the Library when they book the equipment. Sometimes, we do drop in training as well depending on staff availability. We don't generally offer equipment training between 12 to 2 pm from Mon to Fri because it is a busy time. However, staff can use their judgement to provide training as necessary if it isn't busy during this period.
