New library employees
Welcome to our new library staff.
COQUITLAM
Jennifer Matthews begins tomorrow as the replacement for Silvana (who will be away for about a year) at DL. Jennifer's Saturday position at DL will be covered by Michelle Chao. Michelle's original Saturday position will be covered by Kinson Lo. He will also work some evenings at DL while Marilyn is still on leave.
NEW WESTMINSTER
Lisa Sim will begin tomorrow as the replacement for Jannine's position as Instructional Assistant. Ann Kuo will begin on Thursday as the evening position replacing Jennifer. Ann will work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening. Robin Ripley will now work on Tuesday evenings.
Rachele Oriente and Jamie Anderson are our two new contract librarians.
Gretchen Goertz will take over from Sam as our Borrower Services Librarian in 2007 while Sam is on maternity leave. Gretchen will maintain her Technical Services responsibilities but will not be involved in reference or instruction for the year. That being said Gretchen will work one day a week at Coquitlam and will do a short reference shift while there. She will also continue to teach Frank Leonard's history class. However, the plan is that essentially her time will be spent on TS and Circ.
